    The hologram is electronically recorded on a very stable specially prepared glass plate. The real-time image of the object can be superimposed on the hologram and will show any mechanical movement of the object surface.

    The movement of the object is seen as interference fringes. The hologram, object, and fringes can be displayed on a video monitor. The object with it's interference patterns can be recorded from the video monitor as a single image for computer processing, or on video tape in the case of varying deflection.

    EXTREMELY ACCURATE: Detects and displays movements of less than 30 nm.

    EASY ACCESS:
    A variety of effects can be studied : thermal, chemical, mechanical, etc. The object under study can be drilled, heated, cooled while mounted in place to permit real-time holographic analysis.


    SAFE: Can use low power (7mW HeNe laser).
